My client are a flourishing start up with a large land bank spread across the North West & Shropshire. Due to a number of upcoming sites they are actively seeking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to initially manage a 50 unit development in the heart of Whitchurch. This role would suit an experienced professional with the experience & contacts to advise on local subcontractors etc.

Site Manager Job Description:

  • Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project, ensuring that project specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs
  • Co-ordinating and supervising construction workers
  • Selecting tools and materials
  • Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
  • Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
  • Maintaining quality control procedures
  • Writing reports and keeping on top of paperwork
  • Helping to negotiating contracts and securing permits and licences

Site Manager Job Requirements:

  • SMSTS, First Aid & CSCS Card as standard
  • A minimum of 3 years experience within the new build housing market, having taken schemes from commencement to completion
  • The ability to travel throughout Shropshire & Cheshire with ease
