Hours of work are Monday to Friday 40 hours per week (days)

Working within the Maintenance Department in MIRS, you will be expected to manage continuous improvements and ongoing projects, assisting with day to day maintenance issues/problem solving, and proposing new projects based on business needs.

The ideal candidate will preferably be qualified to HND level or above in Electrical Engineering

Main duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Establishing maximum efficiency of key equipment
  • Support Quality improvements
  • Timely implementation of key projects
  • Continuous improvement of processes
  • Define improvements
  • Implementation of improvements
  • Assist with training
  • Involvement in use of POWRA
  • Liaise with Safety, Quality, Production & Purchasing etc
  • Liaising with worldwide operating units
  • Data Analysis for justification of improvements / projects

There is a requirement for the individual to come from a Maintenance/Engineering background with knowledge of Siemens S7, PILZ, Omron and Robotics. Experience of using CAD (Auto CAD LT) is also desirable, along with extrusion process knowledge and understanding.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate excellent communication skills, along with the ability to drive forward improvement activities.
