Maintenance Engineer - Telford
6 Month Temporary £12.89 - £14.18 p/h plus £2.95 p/h shift allowance based on Continental Shifts working a lifestyle balance pattern / An average of 40.71 hours per week.

Job role / duties

•To provide planned preventative, routine and emergency maintenance for all plant and equipment services, working within the team as either a mechanical or electrical maintenance specialist.
•To carry out installations (Mechanical or Electrical) in accordance with current regulations.
•To provide out of hours maintenance support as required.

Brief Description

Respond to and resolve reactive, planned, preventative and emergency maintenance requests. Carry out installation (Mechanical or Electrical) to the required standard. Supporting production equipment adjustments including supplies and services to work equipment. Update CMMS asset history by completion of Works Order information and spares / repair requirements. H&S activities such as full and rapid risk assessments of tasks and occasional working under permit to work.
Actively contribute to company C I activity such as Kaizen and 5s standards in all areas and ensure all work is compliant with H&S standards and risk assessments.

To be successful for this role you must:

•Have completed a recognised apprenticeship and must be qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 (ONC preferred) - electrical specialism with some mechanical knowledge and experience preferred.
•Have 3 years proven ability working in a similar role in an automated manufacturing environment.
•Be City & Guilds 2382 IEE 17th Edition Wiring Regs qualified
•Be experienced in fault finding and repair on PLC's, electrical, robotic, pneumatic and hydraulic control systems preferred.
•Be computer literate.

Located in Telford this position is commutable from Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Cannock, Willenhall and surrounds
