Can you plan the delivery of various routes across the UK?
We are seeking a Transport Planner to join our new site in Tamworth. You`ll be responsible for planning drops across various routes, for multi-temperature produce. As you would expect, it`s a busy and fast-paced environment, and you`ll need to be comfortable making decisions quickly and thinking on your feet.
We need you to be able to plan already, so we`re looking for someone already working in a transport environment. Ideally, you will have experience of using a planning system such as Paragon. You will need a clear understanding of up to date driver legislation - driver hours etc. You`ll also need to be flexible to cover for your colleagues from time to time.
The role is currently offered on a shift pattern of any 5 from 7 (predominantly Tuesday to Saturday) 10am-6pm.
