An award-winning, growing, multi-disciplinary consultancy is looking for an energetic and driven Mechanical Associate / Associate Director to join their office in the West Midlands.

They are looking for someone with a real desire to add value and make a difference, alongside an eagerness to progress in a business that is open, friendly, and makes sure nobody feels like a cog in a machine.

The Role
As the Mechanical Associate / Associate Director you will work on a wide variety of prestigious and unique projects from large scale commercial and industrial schemes to unique and challenging smaller schemes.

Project sectors are incredibly varied and includes; Manufacturing, Schools/Universities, infrastructure, Healthcare, local authorities, public bodies, contractors and developers.

Duties Will Include:
Resource planning and management
Financial performance of the team and fee
Supporting project and work winning bids
Leading the technical development of the group
Assisting the Director to lead and manage the Building Services team
Managing existing clients and develop further opportunities
Looking to grow and develop business with new and repeat clients
Being responsible for resourcing and delivering to a financial target
Raising awareness of the business by attendance at networking events, seminars and business development events.

You Will:
Be educated to degree or HND level
Be a chartered engineer, or actively working towards
Be outgoing and personable
Have experience with designing Building Services projects from conception through to completion (including calculations, drawings and specifications).
Demonstrate commercial awareness in winning work and Business Development.
