Hamlin Knight is currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Manager to join an Industry leading Accommodation based in Coventry.

Preferably you with be fluent Chinese speaking.

You will have full responsibility for daily management of the residence under the direction of the General Manager.

As Assistant Manager you will be working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 6pm 40 hours a week.

Job responsibilities,

Actively support the General Manager in leading the business and revenue generating opportunities by working with the General Manager.
Develop and maintain relationships with University/College.
Undertaking daily management of the residents.
Follow policies and procedures dictated by current H&S legislation.
Ensure reactive maintenance work is carried out promptly and in line with the national code of standards.
Effective planning and organising of time and tasks in line with needs of residences and the business as dictated by the General Manager.
Act as the principal contact via telephone, for emergencies with residence, both during and outside of normal working hours.

Skills and experience required,

Previous management experience in a client facing service industry.
Strong ability to problem solve, delegate, multi-task, plan and organise.
Having a strong client focus and a flexible and resilient attitude.
Demonstrate and understanding of the business.
A good working level of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours as determined by the needs of the business.
