Scale point 14 – 21 (£9.08 ph – £11.04 ph)

Hours: 9:30 pm – 7:30 am (nights to be agreed)

Centre: Birmingham

To work as part of a team in a residential and community based setting; providing detailed objective evidence based assessment recordings in line with the National Assessment Framework. To include undertaking individual sessions of work with families in order to promote positive parenting.

To provide quality & detailed evidence based assessment observation recordings. These examine the nature of the interactions between the child, family and environmental factors and are key in helping make sound recommendations and to inform on future planning.

To provide appropriate advice and guidance to families in accordance with their work Programmes.

To work in partnership with colleagues i.e. Team/Case Managers, Training Manager etc.

To provide a high quality and dependable standard of service which meet our organisations values and standards.

Carrying out observations and recording the interactions between the child and family for assessment purposes.
Undertaking individual sessions of work with families in order to promote positive parenting; providing appropriate advice and guidance to families in accordance with their work programmes.
Taking responsibility for the security of the building and maintaining a safe environment for residents.
Undertaking ongoing risk assessments of families, acting decisively to protect children.
Carrying out admin and domestic duties.
To actively promote Dudley’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults at a level appropriate to this group.

Applicant should also be flexible to cover other night shifts as and when required to meet business needs.
