We are currently seeking a Qualified Registered Manager, We currently operate 4 small homes. The benefit package on offer is a salary of up to £35,000 per annum + company mobile + Laptop Job, after a successful probation period the role will also attract a company car. There is also the option to work from home on certain days as agreed with the Director.

Purpose of role: To provide high quality supported living services that support the rights of customers to live the lives they choose as far as they are able.The registered manager is directly accountable to the Director and to CQC. Key responsibility efficiently manage the day to day running of the business. Allocate resources and monitor performance to deliver high quality supported living services. Manage all aspects of the staff team and provide sound leadership to ensure staff are clear about their respective duties and responsibilities and have the support they need to carry out their roles safely. Must be willing to travel to oversee homes.

Duties and specific responsibilities: Manage the safety and quality of the business, be responsible for the safe delivery of the service in line with legislative requirements and company policy and procedures. Identify training and development to keep up to date with the law, best practice and changes in company policy. Maintain full and accurate records and reporting systems in accordance with legal requirements and to ensure the effective running of the business Implement quality management and improvement systems.

Provide a good service to customers. Promote the rights of each customer and keep their wishes at the centre of their care and support.

Make sure a written individually tailored care and support plan has been created and agreed, that respects the customer’s wishes and promotes their dignity and privacy. Agree appropriate risk control measures to reduce identified risks.

Promote the business attend external meetings and represent the service in a positive manner. Participate in the growth and development of the business. Work with the Director to achieve business plan objectives.

This list is not exhaustive and from time to time you may be required to undertake additional duties. We will provide full training in line with regulatory requirements.

Essential criteria: Experience of learning disabilities/supported living services, excellent time keeper and reliable, professional, smart appearance, good understanding of the regulatory responsibilities of a Registered Manager.

Must have NVQ L5/Registered managers award or equivalent or be working or willing to work towards it.
