The Role: This Area Sales Engineer role will see you developing and managing a range of new and existing accounts, selling purely to OEMs in sectors such as agriculture and construction machinery manufacturing. You will be speaking to design engineers and purchasing managers in a largely account management capacity, with long sales cycles and support from a great product management team. Full product training is provided both in the UK and Germany, and there will be opportunities within the group to also develop your sales career.

The Company: A £20 million company, established since the 1960's, our client is one of the world's most innovative manufacturers and suppliers of Industrial hydraulics. They are now looking to add an additional Area Sales Engineer to their UK sales team, to be based in the Midlands. Their product portfolio includes filtration, accumulators, valves, manifolds, heat exchangers and sensors.

For this Area Sales Engineer position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Strong field sales skills
  • You will have sold mechanical products into OEMs or MRO companies
  • A stable track record is essential, along with plenty of drive and tenacity
  • Any experience of hydraulics is a bonus
