To support our family of Celesio businesses in the UK there are over 1,000 colleagues in our support centre with over 100 in Finance. We currently have a fixed term contract to cover an internal secondment for an experienced credit controller to join the team.


You will be working on a really interesting ledger looking after our Doctor Surgery accounts.

You will have responsibility to minimise bad debt and maximise profit, through chasing debtors, ensuring prompt allocation of cash to achieve targets, in accordance with Company Credit Management Policies, practices and procedures.

You will review credit, chase debtors via telephone, facilitate payments and liaise with all parties to resolve queries incusing internal stakeholders.

With excellent organisation skills you will manage your own diary and track all data to produce reports.

To be considered for this role is it essential you have recent Credit Control experience within a Commercial environment.

You will need experience of chasing debt on the telephone and therefore have strong communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate with your customers.

You must possess the ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, achieve objectives, hit targets plus be able to organise you own work load and prioritise.
As you are working as part of a team of seven you will be a team player, confident at multi-tasking and comfortable to work in an open plan environment

Prior working knowledge in Pharmaceuticals Sector or similar complex industry and/or with the NHS is desirable but not essential as is CICM qualified or studier

This role is based at our Support Centre in Coventry, Walsgrave Triangle, CV2 2TX. We are located just off junction 2 of the M6, easily accessible by car. If using public transport, we are 5.5 miles from Coventry train station, approx. 40 minutes by bus from the station.
