National Transitional Training Co-ordinator
Location: Flexible Location, within UK

Salary: GBP 18,805 - GBP 19,747

About the role
We are recruiting for two National Transitional Training Co-ordinator for a fixed term contract of 6 months. Either role is fully flexible in regarding to location and can be based anywhre within UK. This fixed-term role has been created to ensure the effective transition from the current UK Ops staff and volunteer induction and training model to the new operating model where recruitment and induction and service training move to separate P&L and service accountabilities.

The role will work closely with the local UK Ops P&L teams to support the delivery of the on-going FTP programme and actively develop the FTP tutor cadre - staff and volunteers. There is also a need to support the transition from the local management of training resources to a more centralised resource management model. The role will need to operate flexibly in support of this alongside the National Training Management Centre (NTMC) team and the head of learning transition.

About the person
You will will support the effective transition of current induction and service specific training. Working with local UK Ops P&L teams to support the delivery of the FTP programmes and build the FTP tutor capacity, staff and volunteers. Working with services' technical training teams to support the management of training resources and assist the transition to a more centralised resource management model., successful candidates must have:

  • A working knowledge of the BRC behaviours framework
  • Competent in giving constructive feedback, including delivering difficult messages
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent by experience
  • Training skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

Closing date for applications is 23:59 on Wednesday 18th October 2017. Interview will be held on tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th October 2017. Interviews will be held in either Coventry or Worcester.
