Senior Residential Care Worker – New Children Home - Wolverhampton

Dove Resourcing is currently working in partnership with a brand new residential children’s home in Wolverhampton to source qualified and experienced care staff for their 3 bed EBD service.

The company is privately owned by individuals whom have a significant amount of experience in the care sector. Their success to date has been through investing in staff, being very focused on the quality of care for the individuals in their care. Staff are offered organic progression opportunities and investment in training.

This site is based in Wolverhampton, the home is pending Ofsted approval so we are looking for individuals to commence within the next 12 – 16 weeks.

You would be expected to;

Support the children to explore the feelings, memories and emotions they experience in a safe and nurturing environment.To ensure that the home’s Statement of Purpose is adhered to and that the objectives are met at all timesTo familiarise yourself with each child’s therapeutic care plan – help to implement and keep record of their progress.Be an excellent role model developing relationships with the young people to create meaningful attachments.Ensure the home is stable and safe environment for all of the children.We are only considering applications from experienced and qualified residential child care workers, so you must have direct experience as well as holding a level 3 NVQ / QCF – Children and young people workforce or social work degree to apply.

Salary for Senior Residential Care Workers is £19,000 + sleep in payments of £35 per sleep.

For qualified Residential Care workers – salary of £17k + £35 per sleep.

Shifts could be full days or split shifts, 8am – 2pm or 2pm – 10pm.

Sleep ins will be occasional as the company do introduce waking night staff.

Applications are subject to satisfactory DBS and reference checks.

Due to the nature of the work it is essential that all applicants have a full UK driving license with access to their own vehicle.
