Job description:

This role sits within our newly transformed HR function and you will be part of Mondelez Business Services (MBS) supporting the business across a range of HR activity from Hire to Retire (HTR). MBS is a Key Driver of the HR Strategy which drives top tier financial performance and creates a great place to work by leading the agenda on Talent, Leadership, Culture, and Organisation Capabilities.

The Translation Specialist will be responsible for translating communications and other important MBS HTR documentation.

Main Responsibilities:

•Translates and interprets communications and other important MBS HTR documentation.

•Reads through original material and rewrites in new language.

•Ensures meaning of communication materials is retained.

•Uses translation tools (i.e. software, dictionary, thesauruses) to ensure accuracy and integrity of translation.

•Collaborates with team leads and specialist to understand objective and clarify any questions.

Required profile:

Candidate Requirements

Education, Skills and Scope:

•Educated to Degree Level or equivalent is desirable.

•Language qualification preferred

Skills & Experience:

•Substantial experience in translation services.

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills in native level English.

•Experience of working in a global organisation and /or shared service organisation desirable

•Strong customer service-orientation.

•Knowledgeable of specialised vocabulary (terminology) in both English and the foreign language related to business systems, processes and terminology.

•Excellent listening skills

•Self-directed, able to multi-task and manage fluctuating workload

•High operational excellence.

•Highly proficient in both English and at least one other foreign language including vocabulary typically used in formal, consultative, and casual modes of communication in business contexts, including colloquial slang, idiosyncratic slang, and regionalisms.
