Territory Sales Manager
This rare opportunity has arisen with our outstanding North East based client. They are now looking for a motivated Territory Manager to cover the midlands area, with a view to supporting their business growth.
This is an outstanding permanent opportunity for the ideal candidate to support a team tasked to manage and oversee sales and new business.
- Delivery of company’s budget and business plan
- Personal oversight and involvement with key account relationships with end customer, resellers and partners
- Involvement and development of a product roadmap to satisfy market segment needs
- Report on call activity and sales pipeline in line with business strategies.
- Co-support and help drive the marketing and branding
- Monitor, evaluate and report on competitor positioning and identify and implement strategies to convert their customer base.
- Ensuring business deliverables are in line with marketed deliverables.
- Promotion of key differentiators and promotion of our capabilities and value-added services.
- Generate & present monthly reports to the management team providing information on current status and future expectations of business activity relating to adopted strategies.
- Ensure implementation of an accurate monthly status reporting process which can be issued in a controlled manner to stakeholders.
- To represent the company at regular business reviews and provide relevant data for review.
- Ensure communication processes (KPIs / metrics) are implemented that are consistent across all functions.
- Proven experience in sales / business development.
- A level of technical understanding / competence within metal industry.
- Cross functional experience.
- Proven track record of managing and reporting against the sales cycle
