Job Description

This Global Business consultancy seeks an experienced 2nd line Support technician to work within their Global Development Team. With offices in over 16 different countries this is a multi-million pound turnover business. In the UK alone they supports hundreds of businesses in the £1m - £10m space with some larger circa £500m T/O and partner globally with Fortune 500 and in the UK FTSE 250 companies.

Job Overview

This Global Development centre provides remote support for both PC and applications and we're looking for an experienced Second Line Support Technician to provide 2nd level support and take ownership of clients' IT queries and resolving them in a timely and professional manner.

Education /Experience Required

1st / 2nd line Helpdesk experience

Experience of supporting mobile devices (Android/Blackberry) would be highly beneficial but training can be provided.

Answer questions about problems within warranties

Diagnosis of faults of Android & Blackberry phones and provide a fix

Remote log in to customers phones and talk them through the corrective steps.

Resolve customer enquiries via phone/email.

Provide a level 1 & 2 support service to be able to diagnose customer IT problems, where appropriate remote access onto the customer's mobile phone.

Liaise with third party supplier to help in the problem resolution.
