TM Resourcing (Technical & Engineering) are recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing organisation based in Nuneaton.

Our client in an award winning sub-contract engineering organisation mainly operating within Aerospace & Industrial.

Due to continued growth, they are now ready to drastically increase their staffing levels permanently. We are on the lookout for 2 experienced NDT Engineers (Aerospace)

Key result areas

  • Undertake NDT inspection operations in accordance with customer specifications (e.g. Rolls-Royce, RPS700 magnetic particle and RPS702 dye penetrant) over a range of components as required.
  • Maintain the written records and traceability as required by the above associated standards. Liaise with the nominated level 3 accredited person where applicable.
  • Take an active role in external and internal audits with regard to the complete NDT facility.
  • Maintain personal certification / accreditation for the above by means of the stipulated written and practical examinations.
  • Undertake the chemical processing of components in accordance with process requirements to include: e.g. de-contamination, etching, passivate.
  • Where required, undertake manual inspection operations (using standard equipment e.g. hard gauging, DTI's etc) as requested by your Supervisor and/or Leading Hand.
  • Where required, undertake inspection operations: eg Polishing / blasting / part marking / SQVP / surface coatings / finishes as requested by your Supervisor and/or Leading Hand.
  • Where required, assist in non-inspection functions as requested by your Supervisor and/or Leading Hand.
  • Assist in ensuring the smooth flow of production through the manufacturing process, to both optimize lead-times and adhere to customer deliveries.
  • Working closely with Supervision and Production Control assist in ensuring that delivery commitments are achieved as per customer requirements. (In exceptional circumstances additional hours may be required).
  • Work in a conscientious and diligent manner, ensuring that the quality of the product is paramount at all times.
  • Work in a safe manner at all times, following the company Health and safety policy / procedures as detailed in the company handbook.
  • Maintain a tidy department at all times and ensure that chemicals are stored safely and in accordance with supplier guidelines.
  • Liaise with Production and Quality Engineering on technical issues.
  • Assist in the development of new parts and processes where applicable.
  • Adhere to the company policies and procedures as detailed within the company handbook.
  • Using your skill, knowledge and experience, sentence components to the best of your ability in accordance with company and customer standards.
  • Be proactive with regards to problem solving, suggesting potential improvements as appropriate.
  • Assist in the training of other Cell members.
  • Highlight to your Supervisor / Leading Hand, inaccuracies in the completion of production documentation (eg Route cards, reject notes)

Hours of work: (Weekend Days or Weekend Nights)

  • Weekend days: Friday to Sunday - 6AM - 6:30PM
  • Weekend nights: Friday to Sunday - 6PM - 6:30AM


  • Annual salary between £30-40K (Depending on experience)

  • 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays per annum can be taken in 15 minute slots. Example: you can take 45 mins holiday if you want to leave early rather than half a day.
