Lead Teacher required for our brand new specialist service in Herefordshire

You will be working with our amazing Young People in an intake & assessment unit, providing them with a positive education experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Teacher to join us, working with our Young People with complex behaviours and special educational needs. You will have qualified teacher status, with a good honours degree or equivalent, alongside in depth knowledge of identified curriculum areas. You will possess recent experience of teaching secondary aged pupils, and have the initiative and commitment to ensure good practice is embedded throughout the school. Key Responsibilities:
1.) To fully participate in the life of the school community, promoting and supporting ethos, values and aims
2.) To contribute and work within the Policies & Procedures of the school
3.) To observe professional standards and work effectively as a member of the school team
4.) To contribute to the evaluation, monitoring and development of the school curriculum
5.) To plan, prepare and deliver a creative curriculum across all subject areas as defined in the Independent School Standards (Wales) Regulations 200
6.) Create an effective individual learning plan for all pupils

Required Qualifications & Training:
1.) A qualified teacher (QTS / QTLS) with a good honours degree
2.) Middle management / Coordinator / Leadership experience
3.) Evidence of recent and relevant training and developent
4.) Successful and experienced teacher with proven track record of achieving high standards
5.) Proven track record in coordinating staff to support successful outcomes for a wide ability range of students
