Alma Personnel have been instructed by their Wolverhampton based manufacturing client to recruit for an experienced Health and safety Manager with responsibility for environmental and quality assurances.

Leading your own team you will need to review the current quality systems and their impact on any part of the business.
Improving and making recommendations to develop robust quality procedures.
You will be required to prepare external audits and support any external bodies auditing the quality system.
Undertake risk assessments on a regular basis and report, review and update current and new safety working practices across all departments.
You will need to have come from ideally manufacturing environment or engineering, food packaging or any industrial environment.
Knowledge of HACCP principles
BRC food packing and packaging materials standard.
Continuous improvements methodologies.
Qualified NEBOSH cert level or equivalent, similar experience in previous role.
Must have excellent IT skills, Excel, Word, Outlook and good numeracy skills.
Some experience of ISO14001, OHSAS 18001 would be an advantage but not essential.
