An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Income Management Officer for our client who is an established provider of affordable housing across the Midlands region.

Due to a recent increase in workload an Income Management Officer is immediately required to work alongside existing residents to reduce the level of rent arrears

Key duties:

? Manage caseloads of rent accounts that have fallen into arrears
? Work alongside residents to reduce the levels of rent arrears
? Manage rent accounts to maximise the income for the organisation
? Complete income and expenditure documents to create affordable repayment plans
? Prepare and present rent arrears cases at court level
? Refer residents to the money advice team where necessary

You will also have:

? Experience providing excellent customer service, ideally within a local authority or social housing setting
? Strong communication skills both written and verbally
? The ability to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact on a on-going contract

The successful Income Management Officer, will understand the need to maximise the income for the organisation.
