Working as an integral part of the senior management team managing all HR processes including recruitment & selection, training & development, employee communications, succession planning, performance management, and employee relations, compensation & benefits; provide advice and guidance to management and employees on the practical application of HR policies, processes and procedures; ensure that all local, regional and global HR initiatives are fully supported and implemented.

-Provide a full range of employee relations interventions and solutions to every level of the site; general advice, mentoring, counselling, disciplinary, grievance, appeal.
-Work closely with the UK and Corporate HR team to facilitate the delivery of the HR strategy, local, national and global.
-Work with the site business management team to drive effective performance management (both high performance and under performance).
-Work with the HR Director and Corporate Compensation to manage the full scope of compensation and benefit matters for the site.
-Manage the annual budget process, working closely with the Financial Controller to ensure accurate headcount salary forecasts.
-Work with the General Manager to shape the organisational structure of the business to ensure both immediate and longer term resource capability is in place at the right time to deliver the operational requirements of the business; advise and support managers to achieve the plant organisational resource plan.
-Working closely the UK Talent Acquisition Manager, manage the overall recruitment and selection requirements for the site.
-Lead all new employee integration programmes and internal transfer/promotional orientation programmes.
-Champion, work with and ensure compliance with the Corporate systems
-Work with central UK HR team to identify Industrial Talent and support the development of such talent through the Company's Industrial Talent Programme
-Lead employee communications via the Employee Forum, identifying and addressing any barriers to a positive employee satisfaction environment.
-Work with the central HR team to ensure UK wide professional standards and systems are embedded within the local site.
-Coach and develop the site business management team to champion a high performance and collaborative environment where employees feel empowered to give their best and achieve their personal and professional goals.
-Operate as a valued partner to the organisation and offer day to day solutions in a pragmatic, active and responsive way, promoting a positive and fair employee relations climate throughout the business.
-Manage and provide leadership to the site's HSE Department

To be considered for the role you must have worked as a HR Manager previously
-Graduate within a business related discipline
-MCIPD qualified
-Proven technical HR business partnering experience gained within a demanding and fast paced manufacturing business
-Proven experience in working closely with senior management teams
-In depth knowledge of employment law
-Advanced MS Office capability
-SAP experience advantageous
-Excellent numeracy and problem solving skills; ability to produce cost/benefit business case reports.
-Demonstrable capability of producing detailed and professional written documents both in day to day communications and specifically in response to discipline/grievance/appeal cases

The company are offering a salary of £45,000 -£55,000 with a fantastic benefits, car allowance, healthcare and bonus scheme.
