I am currently looking for an M&E Quantity Surveyor for my Client based in Birmingham.

My client, a leading M&E contractor that focus on Residential, Educational, Hospitals & Commercial type projects. Turnover for the business is around £100 million at the minute, with figures still waiting to be published.

Due to the business expanding they are now looking for an experienced M&E quantity surveyor to join the business.

Experience with the above projects, values up to £10 million is needed.

Stylish offices in Birmingham with a vibrant company culture, competitive salary and package along with training and development for those looking to progress. With a solid Estimating team in place they are now looking to expand the department to assist with the work load coming in.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Submission of Mechanical Tenders
  • Ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Liaising with clients & contractors
  • Variations
  • Procurement
  • Finalise tender bids
  • Secure contracts
  • Handovers
  • Understand and scrutinise Sub-Contractor quotations
  • Measuring and take offs for materials and labour

  • Ability to meet & exceed targets

  • Ability to work alone
  • Experience working with M&E Sub Contractor
