JOB TITLE: Mechanical Project Manager
SALARY/RATE AND BENEFITS: £45000k - £50000K (dependant on experience)
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
-Previous mechanical experience in either heating , drainage , air condition, ventilation or plumbing
-Experience in electrics and aspects of general building works on site would be a distinct advantage
-Previous management experience (able to demonstrate all aspects of senior management experience)
-hold a valid CSCS card and have relevant H&S qualifications for the position
-HNC/HND Construction Management
IDEALLY YOU ALSO HAVE:
-A detailed knowledge of an industry recognised project management methodology, ideally PRINCE2 or another industry recognised methodology. This will suit someone who can apply this methodology practically when working with a flexible and changing client
-Experience of managing tender processes and pre mobilization plans would be beneficial.
-Previous experience within domestic or commercial, site works and maintenance
We are working with a forward thinking and innovative Mechanical and Electrical organisation that are looking for a Mechanical Project Manager who will be responsible for delivering projects in Birmingham and the surrounding area.

-Management, co-ordination and monitoring of the Design Team, Value Engineering and Contractor Design packages during the Design Development period
-Compilation of both Health & Safety File and Design Plans
-Preparation of supplier and sub-contractor packages
-Audit, validation and placement of orders with suppliers and sub-contractors
-Ensure Quality Plans for both design and installation are adhered to
-Manage, track and close out of Planning Conditions and Building Control issues in order to ensure satisfactory closure * Review and monitor of site programmes
-Project financial control including variations
-Maintaining records relating to Health & Safety, design and installation processes
-Drawing co-ordination and the installation, commissioning and setting to work of Mechanical Services
-Chairing meetings face to face with varying different levels of audience both in number and stature including the client
