Role:

The Physical Chemistry team is part of the DMPK division, developing & supporting Physiochemical aspects of DM and PK activity. The Physical Chemistry team is tasked to determine solubility of compound, identifying the Pharmacokinetic behaviour- Lipophilicity, Molecule ionisation at a specific ph value and binding of compounds, ligand by optimizing Chemical Stability.

The role is based in Cheshire and is permanent, full time. Our client is hiring for a Team Leader. The Scientist/Senior Scientist/ Team Leader Physical Chemistry team leader has two main criteria - Manage, develop/direct In-Vitro scientists, Laboratory Associates and Research Scientist in this team, and implement Laboratory Operational requirements- InVitro Assays and Processes.

Candidate:

PhD in a relevant scientific discipline with Physical Chemistry as a bias and wider DMPK exposure obtained within an InVitro Laboratory setup. Previous track record of InVitro Assay Development- Physiochemical Assays, Solubility, Protein and Ligand Binding, and Ionisation -Pka
