The Role

The main purpose of this role is to support the online team by providing consistently well written, creative and engaging copy for a range of online purposes.

You will have a solid understanding of digital content across a range of digital channels including blogs, web, email and social and you'll have proven experience of creating content and writing across these platforms.

As the Digital Content and Copywriting Executive your key responsibilities will include:

  • Producing content for the company's blog, including advice/ 'how to' articles, ensuring that the topics are researched and written about in a unique and engaging style
  • Working closely with the rest of the digital team to generate highly effective email campaigns. Producing all copy for email campaigns, and when required sourcing photos and other content
  • Providing creative and engaging copy for the promotion of competitions to increase participation
  • Supporting social media activities, providing interesting and engaging copy for posts on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest
  • Providing support and guidance around tone of voice and brand identity
  • Providing product copy where needed
  • Proofreading and editing existing copy where needed as well as ensuring all copy is grammatically correct, factually sound, search engine optimised and audience appropriate

About You

As the Digital Content and Copywriting Executive, you'll have previous experience writing online copy, preferably within an commercial environment. You'll have strong editorial and proofreading skills and a sound knowledge of WordPress, SEO and Social Media Channels.
