Senior Procurement Manager - Facilities ManagementBirmingham or Sheffield1st Executive are currently working with an Internationally recognised Facilities Management company who as part of their on-going growth have a requirement for a Senior Procurement Manager within FM to work on a number of key accounts within Birmingham or Sheffield.The core duties & responsibilities are:Role reports into the Head of ProcurementWill be managing a handful of Procurement Manager and Procurement AdvisorsDelivering professional procurement services to internal customers at all levels in the Business Unit(s) they may be responsible forIdentifying and delivering value (including bottom line savings) on an ongoing basis and to meet specific in-year targetsProactively and professionally engaging with internal customers to understand their specific requirements linked to end customer commitmentsManaging those suppliers who deliver services that are specific to the Business Unit and sourcing new suppliers who are best able to meet the needs of the Business; ensuring best value, fitness for purpose, risk reduction and a quality service to the end customerIdentifying opportunities to deliver value by aligning with our Category approach and managing the successful delivery and transparent reporting of deliverableRequirementsSignificant experience in a Procurement role from an FM industryPrevious experience in a line management roleCIPS, or working towards (or equivalent) / relevant degreeExperience of Stakeholder Management and Influencing skillsRecent experience in Services and / or Facilities ManagementThis is an exciting time to join the business and for the successful applicant is the opportunity to further your career within the FM Procurement space.
