Business Development Executive - Local Government

Due to our ambitious growth plans we currently have a rare opportunity for a Business Development Executive to assume responsibility for selling our information management solutions to medium and large scale local government organisations.
With a national remit, you will be responsible for achieving set revenue targets by identifying and developing new business streams. This will be accomplished by developing a thorough understanding of the sector and building a strong network of customer relationships.
To be considered for this role you will be a business to business, field sales professional with significant experience of identifying new business opportunities and influencing customers at a senior level. You will preferably have experience of working with Local Government or wider Public Sector organisations. A proven track record of achieving sales revenue targets whilst operating within a matrix structure is also desirable.
