Baltimore consulting are currently working alongside a growing reputable provider in specialist residential care for children and young people (CYP), in sourcing an experienced and focused registered manager for a brand new service based within the West Midlands region.

Commutable from the Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Bromsgrove, Coventry, Stoke-on-trent and Worcester areas.

This is a full time permanent positon and will require candidates to hold either the RMA, NVQ level 5 in management or Social work qualification.

Overview
Joining a growing and progressive organisation, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the opening and development of a brand new residential children's home, including obtaining registration, promoting and marketing of the service, recruitment of the staffing team, securing referrals and ensuring that all specifications are too the highest standards.

The home will provide care to children and young persons, ages 11-16, with various degrees of social and emotional mental health needs (SEM/SEMH) and other various related conditions including learning disabilities and challenging behaviour, therefore experience within this area will be desirable.

This is a prime and exciting time to join the company, at the beginning of long term project with further openings through organic growth planned down the line. Criteria
** NVQ level 5 / Registered Managers Aware (RMA) / CQSW (social work qualified)
** Experience working within children's residential care is essential
** 3 years home manager experience
** Knowledge or track record of working with SEM/SEMH/EBSD/EBD
** Confident in building key external relations with Local Authorities and OFSTED
** Up to date knowledge of OFSTED and other key regulations or policies
** Personable, approachable and experienced leader
** Candidates must be able to drive

Package
The salary on this position will be £40,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience, plus a benefits package including 33 days annual leave, 5% pension scheme, private healthcare and life assurance.

Process
Interviews will be held across 2 stages.
1st stage - informal meet and greet + a service visit
2nd Stage - formal question and answer style interview
