A leading specialist insurance company whose teams of specialist underwriters create bespoke motor insurance policies for the most complicated risks. They have niche market knowledge which allows them to write risks other insurers cannot and offer a variety of products including commercial vehicle insurance, fleet insurance and taxi insurance, along with agricultural and everyday motor policies.
Your new role
The Business Development Executive will have responsibility for execution of the firm's sales strategy through managing a panel of brokers and distribution partners within the assigned Midlands territory. The job will ensure their unique proposition is communicated effectively to market and you will be responsible for consistently identifying new opportunities for increased revenue growth.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience within business development or field sales within insurance, ideally motor. The ability to manage a large panel of brokers along with build new, long-lasting relationships are key attributes of the successful candidate. You will also need to be able to mange your own diary and visit clients on a daily basis, and experience in developing and executing business development strategies and sales campaigns is key. The successful candidate will also have an excellent knowledge of underwriting and pricing techniques.
What you'll get in return
A salary of up to £53,000 plus a bonus along with benefits including healthcare and life assurance.
