Position: Digital Team Leader
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

As a Digital Team Leader you will be responsible for ensuring that you manage the operational activities in the Digital Department in order to achieve DC plans and contribute to Arcadia's Business Objectives.
Key Responsibilities in this role will include;
Work with the General Manager and contribute to the business strategy for the Department and consider its implications for the DC in respect of space management, systems and internal processes.
Continuously review Departmental forecasts, together with researching industry trends and future opportunities for development.
Ensuring all Team Leaders understand how to influence costs achieve financial and operational KP's in line with the DC /Digital budget.
Liaise with the site Finance Manager to ensure a clear understanding of Department financial targets e.g. CPU and understand their impact on the Digital operational performance.
Ensure the fulfilment of all Digital orders in line with Customer Promise
Understanding and drive the delivery of the required KPIs to meet Digital operational plans.
Maintaining effective working relationships with Union Stewards, escalating any potential issues to the General Manager/HR & T Manager in a timely manner.
Effectively manage the Team Leaders to ensure that all people processes are followed fairly and consistently and within agreed timescales. eg Appraisals, Return to Work meetings.
Promote a safe working environment for all employees by reporting all accidents or near-misses, following up on all accident investigations in a timely manner.
Working with management team to forward plan resources, continuously evaluating opportunities for improvements in working methods that maximise cost saving in the Digital Department..
Communicate working practices and procedures to Team Leaders as required, monitor and ensure compliance at all times.
Act in a professional and confidential manner at all levels; being aware of potentially sensitive information and its impact on the business on disclosure.
Demonstrate positive and inspiring communication to the Team Leaders through regular team briefings, regular reviews and appraisals.
Demonstrating and coaching commercial acumen to Team Leaders to help them make decisions for their team; know each department's targets, costs, customer base and their expectations.
Measure and review the performance of Team Leaders, developing challenging and realistic targets, challenging poor performance and feeding back good performance regularly and within required timelines.
Key skills and experience in this role will include:
A proven record in Managing managers
Able to demonstrate and discuss confidently improvements in a similar environment in, processes, people management, service improvement and cost reduction/improved efficiency.
Knowledge of KPI's and their application
Ability to diligently follow work procedures and safety rules
Awareness of current Health and Safety Legislation and practices
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Effective organisational and time management skills.
Effective influencing and negotiation skills
Confident decision making and problem solving
Statistical Analysis skills
Proven PC literacy having used Microsoft packages
Display a positive attitude and conduct themselves as a role model
Ability to develop, coach and motivate others
Experience in handling difficult situations
Reliable and Self motivated
Pro-active and forward thinking approach
