The role and responsibilities of the Customer Success Manager

The Customer Success Manager is ultimately responsible for retaining business with existing customers, resecuring contracts and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Other responsibilities include:

Fully understanding the company's software products and services
Stakeholder management - building strong, long lasting relationships
Identifying new opportunities and working with the sales team for up-selling
Understanding the customers requirements and plans, developing strategies for success
Arrange and run operational reviews as and when required with clients
Deal with escalations - use Root Cause Analysis in order to propose alternative solutions

Experience/skill requirement:

Candidates will need to have a solid understanding of SaaS / software solutions
Proven experience of managing multiple complex client accounts
Proven experience of retaining business contracts
Excellent relationship building skills
Critical thinking and analytical problem solving skills
An ability to think outside the box, suggesting alternative customer solutions
An ability to listen to a client fully and understand their needs
Outstanding presentation skills
Must have a passion for driving customer success and satisfaction
Excellent organisation skills

Salary: up to GBP50,000 + benefits

Location: Midlands - there will be a requirement to travel internationally to visit clients
