Have you got a strong understanding of quality systems and quality implications within the food manufacturing industry?

Technical Specialist Opportunity:

My client are a market leading Food Manufacturer with a strong reputation for delivering high quality products within a safe and hygienic setting. The Technical Specialist role will sit within the Quality team and take responsibility for ensuring a high quality product whilst contributing to New Product Development. You will work alongside highly creative individuals in ensuring that ideas for New Products are feasible, reproducible and able to be manufactured in a safe and efficient way. The Technical Specialist will have a good knowledge of information systems and LIMS.

Technical Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Project Management between Quality and R & D,
  • Strong knowledge of LIMS, HACCP, COM and deliver process improvements required,
  • Support Quality related projects,
  • Support process and quality related projects,
  • Identify and implement CI initiatives from a Quality perspective,
  • Ensure key procedures and processes are reviewed in line with business/ site changes,
  • Identify and facilitate manufacturing, process and CIP improvements,

Technical Specialist background required:

  • The Technical Specialist will be qualified to degree (or equivalent) level,
  • A strong grounding in Food Quality Assurance (QA),
  • You will have a food or potentially drinks manufacturing/ brewery background,
  • You will have a familiarity with HACCP, food hygiene,
  • Basic understanding of food microbiology,
