A brand new and exciting role to join a well-known Events agency, and much loved, loyal client of ours as New Business Executive, reporting directly into the Sales Director. This is an incredible opportunity to work for a driven, ambitious, successful leader and organisation. A full-time role with the purpose of developing new business through building, maintaining, and increasing a client contact base, so a steady flow of potential client meetings / briefs will be received.

Under excellent direction and motivation, the New Business Executive will generate new business and sales opportunities by means of research and telephone calls.

About the business development executive role:

As a sales executive, you will be responsible for following a targeted telemarketing schedule in line with company's show prospecting list (global and UK) to ensure clients are targeted within a 12-month period. Your role will involve researching organisations and individuals to ensure you are making contact and engaging with decision makers and/or key influencers.

In addition, researching new target markets for the company to enter to ensure sustainable growth.

You will be expected to diarise regular contact and make new business calls and expand company's database in line with the company's show prospecting plan. Being in a regular call pattern and flow is paramount to this role and therefore you will need to be a self-starter, with a positive-can-do-will-achieve attitude.

Part of the role will be to maintain accurate entries and develop new contacts, pipeline opportunities within the company's database.

You will be asked to arrange external credential presentation meetings, face to face or via conference call for either/and/or Sales Director and Business Development Manager.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Work with the Sales Director and Business Development Manager to ensure annual sales target are achieved in line with the company's financial year and the necessary quarters to achieve the target.
  • Create weekly and monthly activity and forecast reports on revenue/target management and share with Director.
  • Continued self-development within the role.
  • Regular reviews with Director on performance against sales and the company targets.
