You will be working for a very well established, approachable and progressive company based in Tamworth. As a Tele-appointer, your aim is to generate customer interest and book high quality appointments for the Field Sales Consultants within the the B2B sector. Use set data campaigns to maximise opportunities across the market place.

My client is looking for someone who is looking for a progression platform and can exceed their sale targets. You will join a very successful team and be working in the new beautiful modern offices.

Your duties will involve:

  • To secure quality appointments for Field Sales consultants by identifying the customer's needs and requirements so that appointments have high potential of converting to a sale

  • To provide Sales Consultants with robust information on customer needs and requirements so that they are clear on the purpose of the appointment and can adequately prepare for the meeting

  • To understand own performance including key metrics of the role; closing ratio, average order value , actual new business revenue generated and processed & pipeline business

  • To maintain a fully professional attitude at all times with customers and colleagues

  • Input all valuable information in (CRM System) regarding the customer for example: Competitor details, Contract End Dates, Services

  • To work to agreed KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) closing ratio, average order value, actual new business revenue generated and processed & pipeline business

  • Encouraging best practice within the tele-appointing team and the regional sales teams, sharing ways of improving performance which will benefit our customers

  • Use excellent telephone and communication skills, with clarity and confidence

Experience and Skills

  • B2B experience in either Telesales, telemarketing or Business Development

  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic

  • To be organised with good administration skills, attention to detail and be computer literate.

  • Can demonstrate a good business understanding and engage well with all levels of a business

  • Has the confidence to contribute to team meetings respectfully, using creative thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills, specifically questioning techniques

  • High standard of customer service both written and verbal
