Client Liaison Officer (call centre)

A British-based, American provider of employment and health programmes are looking for call center agents to join their team on a contact base.

The company is a private welfare to work organisation, working hand in hand with the public sector to deliver a range of government contracts. It delivers employability programmes (Work Programme and Steps 2 Success), health programmes (National Diabetes Prevention Programme), youth services (National Citizen Service), educational provision (apprenticeships, traineeships and work-based learning) and probation services

Role Overview (duties could include):

  • Making outbound calls to book clients in for appointments with the employment advisors and health educators who are based in offices all over the country.
  • Making 80 - 100 outbound calls per day to clients to provide advice and guidance for clients in work, to support them to overcome any issues they have to remain in employment.
  • Our in-work clients can have a range of challenges such as; mental or physical health issues, budgeting issues, debt issues, drink or drug dependency issues, or they could be looking for help to find alternative work.
  • Updating our company database system to ensure all case notes are fully up to date and compliant. ?? Completing re-books for appointments.
  • Handling inbound calls answering queries.

    Key Skills:

  • Previous Contact Centre experience in a customer service environment
  • Strong IT skills
  • Performance focused, able to hit targets
  • Enjoys working to targets and deadlines
  • Strong telephone manner/skills including clear diction
  • Ability to handle conflict
  • Ability to follow processes
  • Caring and positive attitude
  • Motivated by helping others and making a difference to the lives of others
  • Flexible approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

    Location: Birmingham, Yardley. (The company will move in the city centre soon)

    Contract length: 3 months rolling or Fix term for 12 months.

    Working hours are in shift between 8-8pm Monday to Friday. (9-5pm,8-4pm,12-6pm etc.). And every third week one Saturday between 8-12am.
