2nd Line Support Engineer - Telford - Up to GBP25,000 p.a.
Are you an experienced 2nd Line Support Engineer looking for a new opportunity where you will join a dynamic and expanding team supporting the latest technology in Telford?
2nd Line Support Requirements:
-Windows 2003/2008/2012 Server administration (with some basic configurations)
-Windows 7/8 desktop support
-Active Directory and Group Policy
-Citrix and Windows remote support and troubleshooting
-Networking including Routers, Firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP
-Microsoft Exchange and Office
-Mobile device support, particularly Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync connectivity
-Experience of ITIL in a service desk environment is desirable
-Knowledge of Barracuda Firewall products, spam filtering and Microsoft SharePoint would be advantageous
The salary on offer for an experienced 2nd Line Support Engineer is up to GBP25,000 p.a. This is an exciting opportunity for a 2nd Line Engineer who is used to managing escalated calls from the 1st line team. Your work will be investigative and you will be required to keep customers up to date with progress. You will perform maintenance and technical tasks, diagnose faults, and complete on or off site support duties as required. You will be required to meet targets and SLA's.
You will be required to work the following shift patterns consisting of 37.5 hours per week Monday to Fridays: 7:00am - 3:30pm ; 8:00am - 4:30pm ; 9:00am - 5:30pm ; 12:00pm - 8:30pm.
You may also be required to travel to customer sites across the UK with overnight stays from time to time when required.
