To be able to work on your own initiative and organise workload levels or work within a team discipline to identify Health and Safety strengths and areas for improvement and communicate these to your Supervisor for inclusion into the Management process.
To be able to assess with the aid of your Supervisor training and personal development aspects that need to be allocated to provide continuous improvement to a 'Best Value' service.
1.Preparation of substrates, including removing loose and flaking paint by means of all current methods.
2.The ability to apply coatings by brush, roller or spray applications.
3.Safe use and application of materials.
4.Working both internally and externally
5.The ability to set out, line and hang wallpaper and decorative hangings
6.To maintain vehicle stock levels at optimum level so that service efficiency is achieved.
7.To submit all worksheets and documents relating to job (electronically or by paper) within the required timescales.
Experience of working within a customer focused environment
Experience of hand held technology
Level 3 Construction Diploma in Painting & Decorating or NVQ Level 3 in Painting & decorating or City & Guilds advanced in Painting & Decorating or equivalent qualification.
Health and Safety training appropriate for the post
