Salary: Scale 5/6 £20,661 - £24,964 pa full time equivalent depending upon experience + 6% pension contribution. Citizens Advice Shropshire (CAS) is a busy, progressive and dynamic service in a large rural county. CAS is made up of three district offices, various Outreach and Specialist Casework Services; all working together to make a positive difference in the lives of our clients. The advice session supervisor role involves supervising a team including volunteer advisers/assessors, paid and volunteer admin/receptionists during advice sessions following our practices and procedures. Also, there are other appropriate tasks which need to be done when not required to supervise a session. We are looking for commitment, enthusiasm, flexibility and good time management skills. It will be desirable for the applicant to have previous experience of managing a team of volunteers as well as working in an advice setting. The successful applicant would be allocated to a base office but must be able to meet the travel requirements of the post and be able to work flexibly over three sites (Shrewsbury, Ludlow and Oswestry).
