The Role: The successful Business Development Manager will be calling on project managers, design engineers, quantity surveyors and procurement staff; dealing with main contractors, housing developers, Network Rail and Highways England, you will be operating in a both account management and business development capacity. Generating leads through existing client relationships and working on some ongoing projects, this is a great opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join a growing organisation.

The Company: With a GBP45 million sales turnover, our client is looking to add to their 250-strong workforce with this search for a new Business Development Manager. They offer a portfolio of construction equipment for site surveys, ground investigation, earthworks, railway works and infrastructure design as well as the associated geotechnical services.
For this Business Development Manager position, you must meet the following criteria:

* Strong field sales experience
* A track record of selling a civil engineering product or service to main contractors is essential
* Any experience of selling into the rail industry is a bonus
* You will have strong relationship building sills and a consultative approach
