Experienced Telecoms B2B Business Development Manager having experience and gained business from both over the telephone and face to face by Research and build relationships with potential new customers and convert into new business.

Key responsibilities

• Identify potential customers, and decision makers within the customer company.
• Cold call as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
• Meet potential customers by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
• Research and build relationships with potential new customers.
• Plan, deliver & improve approaches and pitches.
• Develop proposals that encompass the customer's needs, concerns, and objectives.
• Accurately price the solution/service within the given commercial parameters.
• Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
• Present to and consult with senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.
• Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
• Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.
• Forecast sales targets and ensure they are achieved.

Managing the day to day activities of sales opportunities
Capable of selling multiple products
Proven track record of Commercial acumen
Knowledge of mobile and the telecommunications industry
SMS Messaging background an advantage
B2B experience


Effective communication and presentation skills
Ability to sell ethically and promote the values of the company
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
