Hays are currently recruiting on behalf of a logistics and distribution company based in Shrewsbury who are looking for an Office Coordinator/PA to join them on a full time or part time basis.
Your new role
To facilitate the smooth running of the day to day office and administration function and maintain a pleasant working environment for colleagues. Duties will include managing the stationery supplies within budget; maintaining office equipment with supplies and repairs. Complete H&S checks, provide secretarial services to Managers and Directors including travel and event bookings coordinate and oversee building maintenance and repairs. Manage compliance to ISO systems processes and procedures and liaison with awarding body HR support across the business including employee engagement, personnel filing and record keeping. Organising supplies for daily business catering and visitor hospitality to the business; kitchen and tea-point hygiene and cleanliness. Meet and greet all guests and visitors and making pre-arrangements for their visit as required. Maintain compliance to office housekeeping standards and preparation of rooms for meetings/events. Provide back up support and administrative cover to sales team personnel
What you'll need to succeed
Secondary education, possessing 4/5 A-C GCSEs or equivalent and/or some further education or NVQ level qualification Previous experience in Office Management or Secretarial roles essential
