You will be based on site at the worlds fastest source for custom prototype and low- to mid - volume parts. The speed and versatility allows you manage your team into taking parts from the early stages of prototyping all the way up to production of 10,000+ parts.


This is a new emerging department that is challenged with a hands on approach to bringing an interesting, enjoyable and 'on the job' style practical training program. Work instructions and standard operational procedures are the focal point to get the teams working efficiently and methodically in line to achieve our internal key perforce indicators.

The Role

You will deliver a blend of practical and computer based training for new and existing employees on manufacturing job functions. You will produce and develop existing training material for primarily in-house practical training sessions, supported by computer based group presentations of Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures. In addition you will maintain accurate training records and liaise with departmental Managers on training needs and skills gaps. Ideally you will have previously worked in a quality, parts finishing, manufacturing or an engineering environment.

You will be mainly working days 8.30-5pm Monday to Friday, however you may be required to alter your working hours to deliver training across three shift patterns.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and teach others.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with practical hands on skills an advantage.
  • Computer literate, able to add images and develop written material in MS word preferred. MS PowerPoint presentation skills an advantage but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills with patience, tolerance, and an understanding that people learn in different ways and at different rates.

The individual will have the initiative to approach challenges with enthusiasm and the ability to react to rapid changes in prioritisation whilst maintaining a clear focus on the overall company objectives. High attention to detail, highly organised and excellent communications skills are a must.
