Your new role
Our clients are looking for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join their Finance team based in Shrewsbury, initially on a 12 month contract. Your duties will include:
- Taking responsibility for the Sales Ledger Function
- Posting and allocating cash
- Raising cheques
- Bank Reconciliations
- You will also assists with other accounting duties within the team when required
What you'll need to succeed
Our client is looking for a candidates who has previous accounting experience, ideally including sales ledger and who has strong IT skills and the ability to pick up new skills with ease. They are looking for someone to start asap and who can commit to a years contract
What you'll get in return
This is a long term opportunity with a possibility of a further extension and our clients are happy to give training on the sales ledger to an experienced Accounts Clerk to develop their skills in this area. Easily accessible by public transport in Shrewsbury and with on site parking.
