An excellent opportunity has arisen for a part time Male Support Worker to provide care and assistance to a child with an acquired brain injury who lives in the Worcester area. In return, we offer a full induction and ongoing training.

The Male Support Worker's role will involve working within the family home, supporting our client to develop his social and communication skills whilst managing his behaviours to enable him to socially interact with others.

The role will also involve:

* Working closely with the relevant professionals & treating therapists implementing the client's rehabilitative therapy programme
* Social activities including swimming and horse riding and attending the mosque

The successful candidate will:

* Be male*
* Have previous experience of working in a private care setting and/or with brain injury
* Hold a full UK driving licence
* Be willing to undergo a DBS check

The role will involve shifts on a rota system, including mornings, evening nights and weekends. Additional cover may be required in school holidays.

The hourly pay rate is:

* Monday-Friday GBP12 per hour
* Saturday & Sunday GBP14 per hour
