Our Yell Agency team is expanding and we are looking for an experienced PPC Manager to join us in our Birmingham Office. As a PPC Manager you will be responsible for bolstering and driving a team of experienced PPC Account Managers to drive performance for our customers. You will be an inevitable part of the growth of the Yell Agency going forward.

The successful PPC Manager must have a deep understanding of PPC and digital customer relationship management as well as being passionate about delivering exceptional levels of customer service and high quality, tailored digital marketing solutions for their clients.

The role

Directing the client relationships - in charge of a sizeable portfolio of customers where the day to day account activity is delivered by your team.
Planning the approach to retaining the customer by driving performance in their marketing spend with us.
Working with Sales Relationship Managers to build plans that deliver best results from budget and an activity plan for each brand so that we form a winning partnership with their marketing team and align what we do with their overall business plans.
Providing channel support to upsell business activity, cross selling where appropriate.
Analysing the data and planning the test & learn activity to drive incremental performance gains which are executed by your colleagues.
Managing, mentoring and supporting your Digital Account Managers by master-planning their work to ensure the successful scoping, design, implementation and refinement of all digital marketing activities.
Being our optimisation expert, demonstrating the PPC strategy, account and campaign detail and how to deliver it using the full range of Google AdWords and Bing products, settings and extensions.

The person

An experienced Agency or PPC Manager who has ran multiple PPC accounts for multiple customers.
Previously worked leading a team delivering demonstrable success through your client management, your team direction and ability to manage complex PPC customer projects.
Expert understanding of PPC.
Detailed knowledge of specialist platforms such as Marin or Kenshoo would be desirable.
Ability to plan activity across paid, earned and owned media. You don't have to be an SEO specialist but you do need to know how to align your work very tightly with SEO, Social, Content and programmatic display.
You live the ROI for those customers and simplify complex search activity into clearly understood plans where you are the translator between the customer demand and the gurus in the office.
Ability to manage a sizeable workload that is constantly changing status and starting / completing jobs daily to keep the flow moving
Experience working within a Digital Agency or fast paced environment.
