One of the world's leading automotive tier one components now seek to appoint a Maintenance Technician to oversee electrical responsibilities on shift. To be considered you will have had past PLC problem diagnosis and resolution and have worked from within a high volume environment.
Commutable from: Shrewsbury, Telford, Bridgnorth, Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Chester, Stoke on Trent
Salary: £ 35,000 - £ 39,000 p.a. (inclusive of continental shift pattern allowance)
Suitable for: Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Electrical Engineer, Robot Engineer, Production Technician, Maintenance Leader
Responsible for providing first line Technician support, the main purpose will be to maintain continuous running on all production plant machinery, obtain maximum production efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve costs, quality and safety. You will take active responsibility for reactive, predicative and planned maintenance to a range of machinery.
You will be an experienced Maintenance Engineer / Technician with at least a city and guilds in electrical engineering. Familiarity of working within a high volume, fast paced environment (ideally Automotive) would be preferred. Knowledge of PLC systems (Allen Bradley or Siemens) and robot systems (ABB, Kuka, Fanuc, Kawasaki) would be favoured for the position.
