Solution Architect £60k + generous bonus Solihull My client designs, builds and fully manages public and private data networks for UK businesses ensuring that their customers can focus on their core business and rely on their technical expertise to design and support their IT connectivity. They now have an exceptional opportunity to hire a Solutions Architect to join the existing Leadership team to help drive the business forward. This is an exciting position for an individual seeking influence and ownership of the Systems and Software Development team in a high energy business. Candidates should possess the following key competencies: - B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent preferred - Advanced experience with Salesforce configuration and custom development - Experience with other CRM software - Experience with enterprise integration tools and extract, transformation and load (ETL) tools - Should have hands-on expertise in some of the following technologies: Force, APEX, VisualForce, Workflows, OBM, Integration/EAI technologies (e.g. Pervasive, Informatica, Jitterbit, ESB), including SOAP, RESTful, .NET and related technologies (JSON, XML, etc), Common frameworks such as struts, spring, hibernate, etc. and Database technologies (Oracle, MySQL, JDBC, SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures) MSSQL, IIS, C#. SQL Server, HTMLS, CSS3, Javascript - Must demonstrate good judgment and pragmatic approach to delivering software that optimizes architecture activities across company needs, business constraints and technological realities - Experienced in using Design patterns - Designed and built high transaction websites - Should have participated in, and be familiar with, Agile (Scrum) project methodology and practices or other alternative but industry recognized development process, preferably scrum master - Minimum 10 years networking and or telecoms experience ideally gained from within the UK industry with at least 2 years at management level.
