My client a global market leader are looking for a PHP developer to join their team in the Birmingham area. My client will help you to achieve your goals and will encourage you to be innovative and creative. Employees are surveyed every year and have rated their time at over 90% on average. My client has been awarded gold standard by investors in people and will offer the PHP developer huge amounts of training and development. You, the PHP developer will provide digital solutions for a variety of web based products.

As a PHP developer your main responsibility is for the production, modification and maintenance of websites and web application's user interfaces.



You as the PHP developer will be responsible for:

* You will provide accurate timing estimates on work
* You will contribute to documentation to all stakeholders (technical and non-technical)
* Work closely in a team orientated environment to develop web based applications and share updates and issues.
* Keep abreast of emerging technologies and how you would help drive the business forward by implementing them into future projects you and the team work on
* You will be encouraged to develop yourself by learning new technologies and keeping abreast of your markets developments.

  • Maintain existing codebase and adding new features.
  • Converting data from various formats

You as the PHP developer will have skills and expertise in the following as a bare minimum but be aware these are not all essential:-

* PHP (Laravel and Symphony)
* HTML/CSS
* Version control (GIT)
* MVC designs and patterns
* Working across browsers. (Desktop and mobile)
* JavaScript/jQuery
* Agency experience
* Flexible approach
