Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, the Senior E-commerce Manager will be responsible for delivering the trading targets across all online marketing channels by devising and implementing a fantastic customer experience on-site. In terms of experience, you'll need to have managed a digital marketing team and an external agency/agencies already as you will be the one who owns and drives the Digital Marketing plan.

This will entail strong technical experience of all Digital Marketing techniques across PPC, PLA, retargeting, affiliates, display. It is also part of your remit to manage the online marketing and customer experience budgets accordingly to ensure ROI on paid activity. Alongside you will manage and support the Online Trading Manager in delivering a clear trading and content plan for the brand and ensure this plan is complemented by a relevant strategy for Digital Marketing.

With the really good experience of managing eCRM and the technologies behind it along with an understanding of web technology and thorough knowledge of Web KPIs, you'll set the touchpoints to achieve.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • An experienced E-Commerce Manager (5+ years) for a retail brand (fashion is ideal but non-fashion retail still sought)
  • You have managed a team and have worked with and managed a broad mix of agencies in your career on day to day paid and SEO activity
  • You have the technical experience of all Digital Marketing techniques, across PPC, PLA, retargeting affiliates, display
  • Data-driven, you are able to delve into the detail behind the numbers to understand what drives traffic, conversion and AOV measures.
  • Commercially and financially astute you are budget aware and have experience of reporting ROI
  • THE ROLE - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the online marketing and customer experience budgets accordingly and ensure we achieve our required ROI on paid activity
  • Manage the external agencies (s) responsible for the day to day Paid and SEO activity, plus eCRM partners
  • Manage and support the Online Trading Manager in delivering a clear Trading and Content plan
  • Own the Content Marketing plans, with a clear plan of Content-based activity to drive SEO and on-site brand experience
  • Take accountability for agreed Digital Marketing KPIs, and ensure that all activity is tagged, tracked and evaluated
  • To assist in the creation of business cases to justify new SaaS arrangements, and ensure the web development backlog is fed with online marketing and customer experience requirements
  • Grow customer loyalty with the aim of increasing frequency of purchase, increasing lifetime shopper value and higher annual transactional values
  • Manage and oversee the total customer database, including the development of a robust and actionable shopper-led segmentation strategy
  • Support the Online Trading Manager in communicating overall web and category trading performance, with relevant insight to the business
