Sales Ledger/Accounts Clerk


£16-18,000 + Pension + Discretionary Bonus

One year contract with excellent chance of permanency

Our Client:

The Opportunity:

Taking charge of all thing sales ledger related - a real chance to "own" the role. Initially this will be a one year contract to cover maternity leave, but due a major expansion of the business in the next 6 months, it is expected that there will be every opportunity to become a key permanent member of staff in due course.

You will take responsibility for banking, allocation of cash, chasing outstanding debt, bank reconciliation and running other important checks and controls to ensure other intercompany payments owed to your business are being paid on time. You will also provide cover in purchase ledger and generally support the team goals. Standard hours are 8:30 to 5pm with 45 minutes for lunch.

We’d like you to start ASAP, but certainly during the first half of October at the latest please.


We are looking for a conscientious and responsible team player with a strong work ethic, self-motivation and who is interested in contributing to this great team. Experience in a accounts clerical role or credit control is very desirable.
