British Engineering Services are risk specialists, our Engineers Surveyors prevent accidents and save lives on a daily basis. Last year we carried out 2.8 million inspections, at over 62,000 sites across the UK and Republic of Ireland. This role will support our relationship with one of the UK’s most successful Insurance companies and one of our most valued customers. The Account Administrator will be a member of a small but perfectly formed team, based onsite with our client, NFU Mutual. This role is not for the faint hearted, as it is fast paced and customer facing, with a focus on building solid relationships and providing exceptional service, every time!

What would you be doing?
Reporting into the Account Director you would be at the front line for dealing with our largest partnership ensuring their customers receive fantastic service from us. You will be reacting quickly to queries and will be talking to people across the different functions within our business to find answers. This is a high profile role and is a brilliant opportunity for a step into the world of Relationship Management.
This is a full time role and every day will bring new challenges, you will: -

Respond to and resolve email and telephone queries from customers, NFU Mutual Agents, engineer surveyors and NFUM UnderwritersBuild excellent relationships across our internal and external networks influencing key stakeholdersUse CRM to maintain and update our customer schedulesEnsure all tasks are completed to the highest level of quality and in line with our Key Performance Indicators and industry standardsProvide general administrative support to the Account Director and Account Co-ordinatorLive and breathe our proposition to help grow our account.The role will also offer some fantastic opportunities to support a number of key projects across the marketing, data and sales support functions, so an appetite for creativity and an eye for detail is a must!This is a big job in a small team, but don’t worry we’ll give you all the training and support you need to be successful.

What are we looking for?
You will be the face of British Engineering Services and you will need to have highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal. You will be energetic and self-motivated with the ability to “think on your feet”. You will be resilient and you will be tenacious in getting to the heart of the matter and using problem solving skills. You will be adept at prioritising and are able to manage your own workload. You will have the ability to work as part of a small team but additionally are able to work on your own at times. You will be flexible as some UK travel is required with occasional overnight stays.
Most importantly you will be prepared to go the extra mile and get stuck in wherever you are needed.
